Hi, I'm Niamh - the soul behind Wild Roots Medium.
I support clients all over the world through quiet, heart-led online sessions - helping you reconnect with your loved ones in Spirit, receive intuitive guidance, and understand the deeper messages your animal companions are here to share.
I'm a medium, intuitive, and animal communicator - but really, I’m just someone who's walked a long road home to herself.
My Path Here
My path into this work wasn’t easy. I grew up in Ireland, always feeling like I walked just slightly out of step with the world around me - like I could hear the world in ways others couldn’t. I felt everything deeply, especially the unspoken language of animals and the stirrings of spirit. But in a culture where that sensitivity wasn’t always understood, I spent years trying to shut it down, questioning who I was and whether I belonged.
It wasn’t until I moved to Australia - and spent over a decade living close to the land, surrounded by wild nature, animals, and deep stillness - that I began to reconnect with the gifts I’d long buried. With distance from my homeland, I found the space to soften, to listen, and to return to myself.
Australia cracked me open. It stripped away the noise and softened the hard edges I’d learned to wear. Through challenges with chronic illness, my body forced me to listen - and in that stillness, spirit got louder. Messages came. My intuition bloomed. And I began to trust that the way I was made… was no mistake.
Learning and Remembering
Along the way, I’ve studied many healing modalities - from energy medicine and intuitive soul work to quantum healing and animal communication. I’ve learned from gifted mentors and teachers across the world, but it’s my lived experience that’s shaped me most: years spent walking with animals, navigating chronic illness, and finding my own path back to self and Spirit.
Animals have always played a huge part in my life. Alongside the many beloved pets who’ve shared my journey - dogs, cats, rats, and hamsters - I’ve spent over 20 years working with horses: learning from them, healing beside them, and witnessing how powerfully they mirror our souls. My connection to animals isn’t just intuitive; it’s cellular. They’ve been my teachers, my family, and some of my greatest healers.
Why I Do This Work
Wild Roots Medium was born from this deep remembering - that our connections don’t end with death, and that healing can happen through the most unexpected ways. Whether I’m bringing through messages from a beloved pet in Spirit, supporting someone through a soul transition, or helping an animal release emotional wounds, my work is always about one thing: coming home.
To love. To truth. To the wild roots of who we really are.
